Quantification Methodology for the Use of Sulphur Concrete in Precast Applications

This methodology is applicable to processes that involve the substitution of calcium and/or magnesium carbonate-derived ("Portland") cement with an alternative binder such as a modified heated sulphur product during the production of concrete and other concrete-based products such as pre-cast pipe, paving stones, slabs and tanks.

Quantification Methodology for the Substitution of Bitumen Binder in Hot Asphalt Production and Usage

This methodology was developed to calculate the greenhouse gas (GHG) emission reductions achieved by substituting a sulphur product for a proportion of the bitumen binder used in conventional hot asphalt paving.

Estimation of Emissions from Storage, Drying and Hot-Mixing of Bitumen in Hot-Mix Asphalt Production

This module provides the calculation methodology for quantifying GHG emissions from the hot-mixing process of hot-mix asphalt production. It applies to projects that conduct stack sampling of hot-mix emissions.
